    Currently I am a asst teach of a school in post of M.A ,B.ED .Am I eligible for increment this year ?
    1. I was teacher in post of B.A Pass , B.ED upto -11- Feb’14 for last 2 year in a different school under westbengal board.
    2.This year again I went thorough SSC and joined the new school in post of M.A ,B.ED from 12nd Feb-2014.
    With these respect am I eligible for getting yearly increment ,Please let me know?

    No,You will not be able to get the Increment for this year.

    According to Ropa,2009, you will have to complete at least 6 months’ service with your new scale of pay to be eligible to get annual increment. So you will get increment on 1.7.2015 on your new Pay in the Band.

    Who has joined on or before 01/01/2014 , only they are eligible to get increment on 01/07/14.
