Is there any hard & fast rule regarding signature by Green Ink Pen?
Attestation may be done in blue / black / green ink pen. There is no hard & fast rule, I think.
Thanks, actually I want to know whether there is any limitation of use of Green Ink during putting down signature if the signatory has no
power of attestation.
Whether in the attestation stamp of an officer can bear his name?
@bithi_dutta
I have heard that it is not permissible to mention the name of an officer in the seal as it may impersonate others. Attestation seal shall only bear the designation & affiliations (office name/ locations etc.)of the officer concerned and, not his name. I have not seen any govt. order to this effect! The harsh reality is that most of the officers having attestation power indicate their names in the official seals and, this has become a common practice.
