    I am working wit ONGC with Basic Pay of Rs. 24,900. Before joining ONGC , I was working with NTPC Ltd. with Basic Pay of Rs. 29,980. I joined ONGC at a lower Post through Open Written Competition & Interview. I had submitted the NOC at the time of Joining. My scale at NTPC was 29100-3%-55,500. However, I joined ONGC in a Pay scale of 24,900-3%- 50,500. Please confirm , whether my Basic Pay of NTPC would be protected at ONGC. Both the Organizations are PSUs.

    I think NO. Had you joined a post in which the scale of pay is equal to or greater than that of your previous post, your pay would have been protected.

    Whether the Fundamental Rule 22 III….wont be applicable in my case..???
