I have an urgent query.
If any primary teacher due to some sickness was admitted in hospital and was not going to school from 16/08/2013.
On 20/08/2013 he released from hospital and fit to join.
But 21/08/2013 is rakhi puja so he will havo to join on 22/08/2013.
Then whether all this leave will be treated as casual leave?
There would be how many casual leave counted?

August 20, 2013 at 1:09 pm #78531unknownParticipant*At first I want to say that if the incumbent submit the Medical Certificate (16th – 20th) then the leave will be treated as Medical Leave and the duration will be 5 days. ( 15th August- Holiday and 21st Rakhi Purnima = 2 days will not count.) On 22nd August, he should join.
** But in case of Causal Leave- 16th, 17th, 19th and 20th = 4 days will be treated as Causal Leave. On 22nd August, he should join.
*** If he failed to do so then his Leave will be treated as (if excess of 7 days) Medical Leave may be counted as 16th to 22nd and on ward.
**** It is better to regard as Causal Leave for 4 days, but joining date must be on 22nd August.August 20, 2013 at 2:33 pm #78533unknownParticipantThank u very much But i want to add one thing more.
That on 15th august in our Asansol circle there was an order that u should celebrate it and also you should make ur initial in the attendance register so he made his sign in the attenadance register.
He have 8days c/l left. And he is fit enough to join on 22/08/2013.
So according to you there would be 4 days c/l.
Kindly suggest me its very urgent.August 20, 2013 at 6:32 pm #78526unknownParticipantSir kindly reply
August 21, 2013 at 1:58 am #78534unknownParticipantmihiracharya is right. you have to take 4 days CL for 16th, 17th, 19th & 20th August. being 18th and 21st treated as govt. holidays. also he was present on 15th August to celebrate, so total period of absence i.e. 16th-21st do not exceed 7 consecutive days, hence CL may be granted for those 4 days.
