The long anticipated Child Care Leave for female teachers (for college teachers as well) is about to come under implementation on and from 1st of August 2015. This is going to sort out many critical and desperate problems from the perspective of their children. I am posting that G.O.s for our female teacher members. But what about those children whose mothers are medically invalid or incapable to look after them and fathers (teachers themselves) have do everything for them, or whose mothers have expired prematurely and have got only their fathers (teachers themselves) to take care of them, or who are the siblings of divorced parents and are under the guardianship of their fathers? Won’t those children be deprived?July 20, 2015 at 2:36 pm #80803
@sourishjal, Every implementation has a merit, demerit. Now after commencement of General Transfer, there is no Science teacher in the most Schools which are situated in rural/interior area. It was said that within 6 months the vacancies which arises due to G.T. will be filled up. 7/8 months went away, many schools are going on without Science Teacher. Our is a school, sanctioned Post of Science group is 11. 6 of them was vacant since a long before. 2 got GT. Now the 1500- student school is running only with two Bio.Sci and a Pure Sci. teacher.
You all know that near about 50% of teachers are female. If they started to get there Child Care Leave ( for a children of up to 18) , how the school will be continued ? And there is a unwritten practice, who has no need to take such leave, she will also be eager to avail her right. Is not it? Where a deputed candidate (in lieu of Maternity leave/ B.Ed Course etc.) is unavailable to filled up the temporary vacancy, then the condition of above situation is not fanciful/imaginary.
Thanks a lot.July 24, 2015 at 3:33 pm #80822
IS IT APPLICABLE FOR PARA TEACHER?July 24, 2015 at 3:45 pm #80823
IS IT APPLICABLE FOR PARA TEACHER?
No, the order is solely for the regular female teachers. The order says so.July 25, 2015 at 5:28 pm #80827
According to Circular of CCL, a teacher may take her CCL, due to his child’s illness, in the time of Examination.
It is seen that, all the annual examination, Madhyamik Examination and Higher Secondary Examination fall in the same time accordingly. If most of the mother- teachers take such leave in a same time then how the examinations will be conducted in a school? And it will be a dangerous situation in case of a Girls’ school to conduct the examinations. What all of you want to say ?
Thanks a lot of you.July 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm #80828
