what is the actual calculation of deduction pay due on 28.02.12

As the month of February was of 29 days, the calculation should be gross salary/29. For exemple: say Mr. x drawn gross salary for the month of February,2012 for an amount of Rs 29,000. His salary will be deducted Rs. 1,000/- (29,000/29).
