this order is helpful to our community. it is better if we get the original order i.e, noted with original signature of S.K. Chattopadhayay OSD & EO Special Secretary to the Government of West Bengal.because very few office is not interested to carry on this order.

If any order is not being carried out by the HOD then please inform the WB Minority Commission through proper channel and send an advance copy of the same to the Minority Commission to avaoid the procedural delay. I hope that will work.

One more thing I forgot to add that the order is for only the fasting Muslim employees of Govt. of West Bengal. So whether some one is fasting or not has to be made known to the departmental head. In such case one who is fasting has to apply to the departmental head affirming that he is fasting and as such the order is enforceable upon him. He should seek a formal permission from his departmental head to leave the office in accordance with the G.O. I believe that after his application no departmental head will violate the Government Order. If he violates then the matter can be brought within the knowledge of West Bengal Minority Commission when they would move the Government for action.
