State Education Minister assured: Extended Summer Vacation is meant for both the Students & Teachers.
great!
But, how can a school authority keep a school closed without a written order?
WBBSE administrator Kalyanmoy Ganguly said that the extended 6 days of summer vacation, 2015 will be adjusted to the puja vacation, 2015.
A few days back, a G.O. regarding availability of school buildings in times of natural inclemency was issued. So, if anything unwanted natural calamity occurs and the schools remain suspended for occupied buildings, will those days of suspension during the calamity be recorded as holidays? Now, should the days of suspension on account of natural activity be counted as holidays, why is it not referred to in the annual holiday list in the academic calendar? I think, suspension due to natural calamity should be provided with a separate status as days of inactivity due to natural intervention.
