Can an A.T avail maternity leave while pursuing B.Ed? Will it hinder her obtaining the degree in any way? I watched previous threads as well but couldn’t get any definite answer.
Recently in a newspaper I read the news that a candidate pursuing b.ed was on maternity leave and she was barred from appearing in exams due to lack of desired percentage, now the Karnataka high Court has ruled that pregnancy is a conscious choice hence it cannot be treated like any other illness and to that effect she does not possess any special condition for which she can appear in the exam. Now the Bombay High Court has ruled otherwise. I am in a dilemma. This information is very important. This is the reason am asking it again and again. Any information in this regard will be very helpful.
Maternity Leave only avail in service period, not as a student (B.Ed). Minimum percentage is required to seat the examination.

sir, i hv heard that there is no off periods in primary schools
i dnt think its crct. we shud get a bit tym to relax.do u hav any g.o for this?
From class I to X, there is no off period(s) from there starting to end in any G.O. Say for an example, V is finished in 5th period, then VI is finished in 6th period. VII to X are finished in 8th period. All the students get recess at tiffin period. You may take the recess of the tiffin period as a gap. A few school terminate there classes after 2nd period shortly for 10 minutes, and they allotted for the tiffin for 30 minutes. It is recommended by the MC. Continue classes are normal. In case of XI & XII, there may be fallen gap period according to there infrastructure of class-room, laboratory, subjects, teachers etc.

but i hv heard that no teacher is allowed to sit in the staff rum except at the recess.
he/she wil hv to sit in the clasrum throughout the duration of the scul

we dont want 2 work on 1.7.2016 as it is the last friday of ramadan.
