Dear fellows,
From a past experience in my Office, I would like to suggest you to fill up and submit the following forms (and modify them at the earliest, if felt necessary) which Govt. employees often delay, out of a casual approach that it can be done anytime.
1. Nomination for General Provident Fund
2. Nomination for General Insurance
3. Nomination for Death Gratuity, and
4. Declaration of Family.

My senior said that opening of Service Book and the matters of Nomination will be delt with after completion of one years service. Being a novice, I had no other option but to agree with him. I am sure there are many Office till now where the basics are not followed properly. I think Govt. should do something for awareness over the fact.
