    Sir,
    For filing a rti to whom should i address first?
    Whether to Apellate authority or public information officer?
    like for filing rti in eastern railway asansol division
    To whom should i file rti
    1.DRM
    2.ADRM(dealing rti case designated as appellate authority)
    3.senior divisional commercial manager(designated as PIO)

    To the PIO first.
    U can file RTI addressing the Head of Office, and it is the duty of Head of office to transfer the same to the designated PIO and inform you accordingly within 5 days.
    If u are not satisfied with reply, then u can file to Appellate authority and the PIO must inform you the designation and correspondence address of the appellate authority if u demand to know in the same query. If the PIO does not divulge any information then it the duty of PIO to inform you the address of AO also.

    waiting for reply that if i will address the drm then whether it is the duty of drm to transfer it to the concerned rti depart ment

    For making 1st appeal to apellate authority,whether it should be also in the format of RTI appliaction or in some other way.
    How we should make complain to central information commission.
