I am a Veterinary Officer. Recently, I have been transferred from Jalpaiguri to Paschim Medinipur. In this connection, I want to know what is maximum limit of transit leave under west bengal service rule during transfer. Please provide necessary G.O in this regards.
A Joining time of 12 days is admissible where the transfer necessarily involves continuous travel by road for more than 200 km as per rule 81 of WBSR – I.

@gpgarain But what about the school teachers (aided)? Many are going to require the G.O. regarding transit leave very soon as many of them are about to get transferred through G.T. and, as the case may be, through SSC as well.
Those who are recommended for General Transfer will have to join within 3 days including holiday/s from the date on which he/she takes release from his/her old school. This is clearly written over their Recommendation Letter. So no confusion about this.
@gpgarain Thanks. But what if they change the schools through SSC? I am asking this because although I have changed three schools, I did not avail of this kind of leave. Will there, too, candidates have to join the new school within three days? Please clarify.
