feel sorry for your friend. you have not mentioned the date of his retirement. As far my knowledge is concerned, he can resign from his job and will get full pension but will not receive any extra benefit as VRS. but before that i think he should apply to DSE for special leave which may be granted. hope for the best.August 3, 2013 at 3:55 pm #78425
Date of retirement is 31.08.2020. His present basic is Rs. 24120. Now if he resign, then what amount will he get as monthly pension? Is there any rule/possibility to get his son any chance? Please reply. How long he can get speacial leave?August 3, 2013 at 6:15 pm #78426
@saij: If your friend is completely unfit s/he may apply for medical test and may be declared incapacitated… this will cause his/her retirement immediately but s/he will get more benefit (including a chance for a job under exempted category for one of his/her near relative) than to simply resign. I quoting from a previous post on job under compensation ground…
2. Dependants of employees who retired being incapacitated: (1) The benefit of the offer of employment on compassionate ground to a dependent wife / son / daughter / near relation of an employee retiring prematurely owing to being disabled permanently or otherwise incapacitated rendering him/her unfit to continue in service will be available, if and only if such employee fulfils all the following conditions:
(i) On premature retirement he/she would not be entitled to the full pensionary benefits to which he / she would have been entitled if he / she had retired at his/her normal age of superannuation ;
(ii) He / she has fully exhausted all kinds of leave with pay including commuted leave on medical ground ;
(iii) He / she had two years of service or more left to reach the age of superannuation ; and
(iv) The financial condition of the family is so acute as the make the appointment essential consequent upon the fall in income due to such retirement.August 7, 2013 at 7:54 am #78446

@Prpradhan & Saij: Sorry friends, I could not get your point correctly. Did you want the order for my post? Then please see the discussion on the link : DCRB Rules for Primary Teacher and see the G.O. Provided by digitaldoc Specially the 30-EMP and the 114-EMP
Hope other members can help us bettter in this regard.
N.B. My earlier quote was from the notification No. 303-EMP/1M-10/2000.—21st August 2002. You may see the order here: DCRB Rules for Primary Teacher but there are notification after that so it it is better to see the order of 30-EMP and 114-EMP or if there is any other after that(please tell us if there is any).
