The West Bengal School Service Commission (general Transfer, Transfer on Special Grounds and Reallocation) Rules, 2015 published in the Kolkata Gazette on March 11, 2015.
>> You got it right, Arup. Here seniority in age is referred to in its true sense. A teacher senior in age will get priority in a particular school in case of being an eligible candidate for applying for GT in a particular year (maintaining 10%). You may say it “a primary criterion to be an an eligible candidate for applying for GT “. And the seniority of service will come into account after this stage. An applicant senior in service will score more once he/she gets chance to apply after qualifying that primary criterion.
>> As for your wife, as you mentioned in PM and Mail, she will score so many points for having baby below 10 years and 1 marks for every 50kms distance besides seniority of service. Moreover, she will get the chance to be considered under “GT on Special Ground” according to Rule 4 Clause (c).
>> But first of all she will have to come within the 10% according to Rule 5, i.e., qualify the seniority of age from her school.
Thanks for your reply. But what about the Seniority of service? My wife has more than 7 years of Experience as AT. But other AT has less than 7 years of experience but AGE is more than my wife, so he/she get the chance for GT?? How it is possible???
