Can a teacher currently doing B.Ed. from IGNOU take C.L. prefixing and/or suffixing to the Study Leaves in case of urgency (one’s college may be situated far from his/her school)?June 2, 2014 at 11:33 am #79525
C.L. never be pre-/suffixed to any kind of other leaves.June 4, 2014 at 1:46 pm #79532
C.L. never be pre-/suffixed to any kind of other leaves.
If a teacher is forced to take such leaves prefixing and suffixing Study Leaves, which kind of leaves will those two leaves be regarded as? Please, inform.June 11, 2014 at 4:31 pm #79551
it may be commuted one on private affairs , if accrued.June 12, 2014 at 11:16 am #79554
Could not get your words. Please explain.June 16, 2014 at 12:20 pm #79570
Dear friend, I think asheshbhowmik is right. your leave may be treated as “COMMUTED LEAVE” – the leave a that a teacher may enjoy on medical ground or for private affairs (in your case it is private affairs) , however 2 Half average pay leave will be deducted for each commuted leave from your leave account. And you can suffix / prefix this kind of leave with your study leave.
Thanks!June 16, 2014 at 1:13 pm #79572
I don’t think such leave(s) may be treated as Commuted Leave(s), for Commuted Leaves may only be availed when no medical leave is due to the credit of a teacher or non-teaching employee and, that too, on Medical Certificate (Medical Certificate is mandatory for Commuted Leave). So Medical Leave(s) should be deducted in such cases.June 17, 2014 at 3:51 pm #79585
my frnd, gpgarain, u r partially right ; see attentively LEAVE RULES. Commuted Leave can be had on Medical ground ;if no ML is at balance; and also on private affairs without producing certificates even ML is in balance.June 17, 2014 at 4:31 pm #79587
Commuted Leave can be had ……. also on private affairs without producing certificates even ML is in balance.
May be you are right. Anyway, can you show that portion where it has been stated that Commuted Leave can be availed on Personal Affairs by a High School Teacher?June 22, 2014 at 1:21 pm #79592
