For Secondary schools it is 8.8% from 01/04/2012
we, the teachers of govt. aided secondary schools and others are in the GPF scheme not in the EPF scheme. EPF mainly applies to the private sector not us. got it? so the current rate of intt. in GPF in WB is 8.8% which is applicable to us.
Rate of interest of PPF will reduce 0.1% from 01/04/2013 i.e will be @ 8.7%, will it effect to GPF?
as far my knowledge gpf & ppf are different schemes,so it will not effect gpf until further declaration
Yes, gpf and ppf are different. So I am agree with dsourav.
