It has been reported on quite a few occasions that some H.M.s deny to provide the ‘Received copy’ of the joining letters that the appointee teachers bring along with other testimonials at the time of joining in the post of Asstt. Teachers on this pretext that it won’t be of any use in future while some others rather advise the newly appointed teachers to keep the received copy of the same in a secure place. Right there prevails the disparity of views. I, therefore, would like to urge someone to tell me whether the above noted document in an indispensable one for future uses. If so, which might the situations that may necessitate that very piece of paper.September 1, 2014 at 12:13 pm #79826
As far as I know the joining letter submitted by the joining candidate is to be kept in his/her service file in the school. It is needed for approval of his/her appointment. There is no need to keep a copy of it with the candidate. If he/she needs such documents in any point of his/her service life, he/she can collect a joining report on school letter-head from HM/Secretary at any time on his/her service life. So don’t worry.December 12, 2014 at 10:54 am #80073
In the last SSC a teacher was appointment in our school in English in pass category. It has been a few months after his joining (not even a year). Now he wants to get admission to M.A. in distance mode. He has asked the H.M. for permission but H.M. refused to give the same. H.M. suggested him to wait for two years till the confirmation of his service. Now, I want to know whether even for doing M.A or M.Sc. after appointment one has to wait for two years as it is done in case of B.Ed. (necessitating two years of service experience). Please provide the supportive G.O. if any.December 14, 2014 at 7:47 am #80077
Last Year a G.O. regarding the necessity of permission of the D.I. for higher studies came out but soon another G.O. came out that trashed the preceeding G.O. that had emphasized the need of permission of higher authority for the purpose of further studies after appointment. Until further development regarding this issue the second G.O. is to be admitted as in implementation.
