Sir I am presently serving in a govt.Dept. and recently I have been selected in another Govt. dept. My question is that I want to pursue Mphil . So if I join the course before joining the new dept do i have to take permission from the new dept. and will I receive leaves for completion of the course OR can I use my earned leave for the purpose.?? please clarify if possible….

If you appointed in the service of teaching where M.Phil improves a teacher qualification, there you may get permission, otherwise not.

Actually I wanted to know whether i have to take permission frm the new dept. as I am enrolling for the course before joining the post i.e. while working in the previous dept.????
