    As per declaration by the Govt. of W.B ,this year Puja Vacation will be commenced w.e.f Durga panchami tithi i,e from 06.10.2016 for the Govt. employee. Whether it is applicable to the employee of Aided/sponsored schools(where there is a separate holiday list for the school employee)?Answer should not be negative as all the school employee attend school on 2nd Sept’2016(the day called for BANDH).

    is this holiday rewarded to us for attending school on 2nd sep?
    i have heard that 6th oct holiday is not related to that
    we may take one extra holiday either prefixed or suffixed to the vacation i.e. we may take vacation from 5th oct
    please some one clarify my doubt

    According to the speech of hon.ble CM, and according to the notification (N.I.Act) , the schools may start their vacation from PANCHAMI. find the attachment about N.I.Act.

    i dont think this holiday is in anyway related to the bandh
    mamata di has allowed us to take one extra holiday along with the puja vacation
    she didnt mention the day
    6th oct holiday is announced by the governor
    governor has nothing to do with the bandh
    why will he reward us for attending school on a bandh day?
