I was admitted for coronary angiogram in the year of 2010 in a the then empaneled private hospital under health insurance scheme(mediclaim). During angiogram it was noticed by concd. surgeon that immediate angio plasty will be reqd. I had no option other than to agree it. On same sitting angio gram & angioplasty was done. But total expenditure was beyond the coverage of my medical insurance scheme. Then I was in service
& was under WB health scheme. I applied for reimbursement of expenditure, as admissible by me subtracting the amount I got under insurance scheme. But, till date, I got no reimbursement of said expenditure . Pl tell me whether I was entitled to get such reimbursement or not?

July 3, 2013 at 6:17 pm #64517unknownParticipantas per wbhs-08 two packages was performed on as day. one package is reimbursable 100% and 2nd package is 60% reimbursed as per g.o. 797-f 31/01/2011. if your insurance expenditure is less than the above two packages then balance should be reimbursed.
