Kindly share your views on the points I wish to bring to the forum on Maternity Leave :
My wife works as a teacher for a Govt. aided high school in Karnataka, she took a maternity leave as per the procedures in 2016, replacing her with contract teacher for her subject in her absence by paying the salary from her own pocket. During her maternity leave, she found that the management and the principal have recruited a another teacher for her subject ie. social and history ie a male teacher, even when the strength of the school did not permit to add two teachers for the same subject.
This is lead to access of staff in the school causing trouble to my wife who has resumed her work since last two years, the management due to their negligence now forcing my wife to shift to another school for no fault of her. The school is a Girls School, considering the fact that the male teacher who has be replaced in my wife’s place can accommodate any other schools in the preview of the management, but due to influence of the male teacher, the management has no decided to move my wife to another school wherein she has already served in that school for last 15 yrs.
Can somebody guide, how to overcome this injustice.
