I have tested this software by entering 5 old cases and found all the results are okay, there is no anomaly. At this stage, obviously it is an excellent for everyone who are seeking and facing problem on G.I.S.S. 1983 and G.I.S.S. 1987 calculation. I request to all the employees who are knocking door of their retirement on superannuation or the family members of deceased employees to download this software and fix the G.I.S.S. amount under 1983 or 1987 or both in a nut shell and within few seconds only. No doubt, Mr Somnath Das is an A1 master to prepare MS excel utilities for us. Heartily, I am proud of him and huge thanks to Mr Das.

Thanks a lot for your feedback dear friend (Jay da). Its one of my addiction to create new excel utilities with new looks and its my pleasure to help the Govt employees of my beloved Bengal. Before creating such utilities, I set the whole in my mind and thereafter I design that like a Painter. Obviously the calculation is prepared first by way of thorough study over the subject matter.July 15, 2012 at 6:27 am #73241

First of all, I welcome you to this forum. It will be my pleasure to extend my hand for the central govt. employees but I dont have any conception about that scheme. Therefore please tell me all the procedure for calculation so that I can learn it easily and create the utility. For West bengal Govt employees there are two schemes namely 1983 and 1987. Both schemes have different criterias. The first scheme was initially started from April,1978 under L.I.C. India and thereafter the west bengal Govt took over it on and from 1983. The rate of subscription is Rs. 3/- and 5/- out of which Rs. 3/- for insurance fund and 5/- for savings fund. The new scheme started from November, 1987 and the existing employees were asked to john this scheme in several occassion and it became mendatory for all the newly appointed employees. As the anniversory month of this scheme is November, the subscription towards savings fund of this scheme should be started or changed on November only . The rate of subscription in this scheme is different for different group of employees Viz Group A – Rs. 24+56, (Insured amount 80000), Group B – Rs. 12+28, (Insured amount 40000), Group C – Rs. 6+14, (Insured amount 20000) and Group D – Rs. 3+7, (Insured amount 10000). I hope those informations are enough for the scheme of West Bengal Govt. Now please tell me the similarities and differences between this scheme with the central Govt scheme.
